Black and white are always safe colors to wear but never be afraid to spice your outfits up with a great red piece to make things pop.  Although not my favorite color in general, red is definitely a color that I like to ensure I have multi wardrobe pieces in because it is such a great accent color and truly looks good head to toe. If you are hesitant start with red shoes or a red handbag to accessorize and accentuate a great outfit and I promise you, you will just keep wanting more and more.  Here are a couple outfits that show how red wardrobe pieces can enrich an outfit, make a statement and take it to another level.

You can never go wrong with a LBD aka Little Black Dress.  It can take you many places, like from the office to meetings to happy hour.  While I am all for pops color, there is something about a sleek black dress that just makes such a bold statement.  It is always my go to because it is classy, professional, well put together, bold and if done right has #HeadBossLadyInCharge written all over it! The other night I went out and felt like getting my LBD on, so I opted for this great black tube dress that has a gold zipper detail up the back.  I completed the look with a black edgy style jacket, gold jewelry and some black ankle cuff heels.  Effortless style with a whole lot of appeal, while being chic and comfortable at the same time.   LBD's are appropriate for many things and occasions.  My motto is and always will be "When in doubt, where black and you will never go wrong!"  Here's a peek at the outfit I put together.

Never wait for a special occasion to break out the good stuff.  Unless you are speaking about St. Patrick's day or money, money, money, mooon-ney; when many think of the color green they say no way; but I say OH YEAH!  Green is a color that pops in so many different shades and you shouldn't have any fear of any of them.  Two of my favorite shades are Kelly Green and as pictured below, Hunter Green.  I can never get enough of those two colors and I really hate that I cannot find more fabulous pieces in these vibrant statement speaking shades, but best believe when I do I am quick to snatch them up. This basic pencil skirt along with the black knee high boots was brought to full life with this beautiful  long sleeve hunter green blouse.  If I had to choose a daily go to outfit this combination would be my first choice any day.  A great blouse, simple skirt and boots or pointy toe will never lead you wrong direction.  I forgot to include the cute leather jacket I topped it off
