Living the Green Life - Long Sleeve Blouse, Pencil Skirt & Knee High Boots

Never wait for a special occasion to break out the good stuff.  Unless you are speaking about St. Patrick's day or money, money, money, mooon-ney; when many think of the color green they say no way; but I say OH YEAH!  Green is a color that pops in so many different shades and you shouldn't have any fear of any of them.  Two of my favorite shades are Kelly Green and as pictured below, Hunter Green.  I can never get enough of those two colors and I really hate that I cannot find more fabulous pieces in these vibrant statement speaking shades, but best believe when I do I am quick to snatch them up.

This basic pencil skirt along with the black knee high boots was brought to full life with this beautiful  long sleeve hunter green blouse.  If I had to choose a daily go to outfit this combination would be my first choice any day.  A great blouse, simple skirt and boots or pointy toe will never lead you wrong direction.  I forgot to include the cute leather jacket I topped it off with but I am sure you could imagine the sleek edgy appeal that it brought to the table.  Scroll down to see more.

Something about wearing all black says bossy to me.  The look and feel of this color makes such a powerful statement and you can usually never go wrong no matter what size you are, as it is the most flattering and forgiving color one can wear.  I love bright and beautiful colors but black is definitely a BSM favorite and absolute go to! Shades of Pink - Pink & Black Dress and Pink Top & Black Leather Skirt

Pink is a universal color that looks good on almost everyone, including the gentlemen.  Some shades definitely pop more so than others.  I truly love the dramatic look of fuchsia pink, it is vibrant and makes a very bold statement, where as the softer pink is very classic and timeless. In today's post I am giving you two different looks with two different shades of pink. The first look has a sassy and bold appeal.  I paired my long sleeve shift dress with some leggings and black knee high boots with gold accents.  This fuchsia shade definitely pops and makes a statement that definitely needs no introduction.  Where as the second look, has a touch of classy sophistication appeal to it.  The soft pink top finished off with a faux leather pencil skirt, pearls and ankle strap heels gives you subtle sexy look.  Here's a peek at the outfits I pulled together.

Every day is a Special Occasion - Embroidered Skirt, Tank and Blazer

I have things in my closet that I sometimes never get to waiting on a special occasion; so rather than do that I figure, "if you have it, wear it", as everyday is a special occasion to look and feel good.  For today's OOTD,  I was feeling a little sassy and decided to wear this fun embroidered fitted skirt. I have said it before, I love pieces that accent your curves in all the right places; and the skirt does just that.  I completed the look with an long asymmetrical sleeveless top and a blazer.  Simple, yet edgy and definitely and outfit that can take you from day to night if need be.  Now, call me crazy, but I truly got dressed to sit in my office all day and run a couple errands, but regardless I was ready for anything that came my way.  Here's a peek at what I wore.
