When in Doubt think LBD - Black Tube Dress, Jacket & Ankle Cuff Heels

You can never go wrong with a LBD aka Little Black Dress.  It can take you many places, like from the office to meetings to happy hour.  While I am all for pops color, there is something about a sleek black dress that just makes such a bold statement.  It is always my go to because it is classy, professional, well put together, bold and if done right has #HeadBossLadyInCharge written all over it!

The other night I went out and felt like getting my LBD on, so I opted for this great black tube dress that has a gold zipper detail up the back.  I completed the look with a black edgy style jacket, gold jewelry and some black ankle cuff heels.  Effortless style with a whole lot of appeal, while being chic and comfortable at the same time.  

LBD's are appropriate for many things and occasions.  My motto is and always will be "When in doubt, where black and you will never go wrong!"  Here's a peek at the outfit I put together.

Something about wearing all black says bossy to me.  The look and feel of this color makes such a powerful statement and you can usually never go wrong no matter what size you are, as it is the most flattering and forgiving color one can wear.  I love bright and beautiful colors but black is definitely a BSM favorite and absolute go to! Shades of Pink - Pink & Black Dress and Pink Top & Black Leather Skirt

Pink is a universal color that looks good on almost everyone, including the gentlemen.  Some shades definitely pop more so than others.  I truly love the dramatic look of fuchsia pink, it is vibrant and makes a very bold statement, where as the softer pink is very classic and timeless. In today's post I am giving you two different looks with two different shades of pink. The first look has a sassy and bold appeal.  I paired my long sleeve shift dress with some leggings and black knee high boots with gold accents.  This fuchsia shade definitely pops and makes a statement that definitely needs no introduction.  Where as the second look, has a touch of classy sophistication appeal to it.  The soft pink top finished off with a faux leather pencil skirt, pearls and ankle strap heels gives you subtle sexy look.  Here's a peek at the outfits I pulled together.

Every day is a Special Occasion - Embroidered Skirt, Tank and Blazer

I have things in my closet that I sometimes never get to waiting on a special occasion; so rather than do that I figure, "if you have it, wear it", as everyday is a special occasion to look and feel good.  For today's OOTD,  I was feeling a little sassy and decided to wear this fun embroidered fitted skirt. I have said it before, I love pieces that accent your curves in all the right places; and the skirt does just that.  I completed the look with an long asymmetrical sleeveless top and a blazer.  Simple, yet edgy and definitely and outfit that can take you from day to night if need be.  Now, call me crazy, but I truly got dressed to sit in my office all day and run a couple errands, but regardless I was ready for anything that came my way.  Here's a peek at what I wore.
