Black and white are always safe colors to wear but never be afraid to spice your outfits up with a great red piece to make things pop.  Although not my favorite color in general, red is definitely a color that I like to ensure I have multi wardrobe pieces in because it is such a great accent color and truly looks good head to toe. If you are hesitant start with red shoes or a red handbag to accessorize and accentuate a great outfit and I promise you, you will just keep wanting more and more.  Here are a couple outfits that show how red wardrobe pieces can enrich an outfit, make a statement and take it to another level.

I was a little busy this week and didn't get a chance to blog a few outfits.  So this a quick post of three outfits I wore this week.

Its amazing what a few simple adjustments can do to an out fit.  I always have a vision in my head about what I am going to wear for the day, but there are moments when I actually have the outfit on and I am not feeling it the way I thought I would, so I have to do a little tweaking, adding or subtracting of some things.  Today I wanted to wear these wide leg jeans, but once I got them on I felt like their was somethings missing, so I switched it up a bit.  With a couple minor adjustments, I changed into some skinny jeans, added a faux fur vest and it all came together.  Here's a peek at today's outfit pre and post swap outs.

While on the hunt for a certain branded pair of wax coated denim jeans in the color wine, I came across a pair at a price I just could not pass up.  While they weren't the pair I lusted for, they were still great enough to satisfy my desire.  Today my whole outfit was based around these awesome else jeans that I picked up at Macy's.  Not bad for $31, and the best part, they are stretchy with and amazing fit.  They still cover my backside when I bend over!  Its hard to find a great pair of jeans sometimes that are both cute and fit just right!  I truly got lucky with this amazing find!
