I was a little busy this week and didn't get a chance to blog a few outfits.  So this a quick post of three outfits I wore this week.

Sometimes you just need something quick and easy yet sophisticated to thrown on and tackle your days business.  Well, in those instances, I turn to a LBD, aka Little Black Dress and some pearls.  Definitely two classic and timeless wardrobe items that you can never go wrong with having multiple to choose from in your closet.  LBD's are a must have for many reasons: they are appropriate for just about any occasion, you can take them from day to night and the color is flattering on just about everyone.  This particular dress is a fitted sweater dress that has a leather trim around the neck;  one of those great off price store purchases that I snatched up because it was such a fabulous find at a steal of a deal.  Pearls are also a necessity because they definitely can add that feminine touch while also giving a touch a class.  Here's a peak at my outfit of the day.

There's nothing wrong with showing a little skin in a tasteful way.  I truly love the off the shoulder look, especially when you have shoulders worth showing off.  For all my broad shoulder mavenettes, embrace your shape, this for you.   Sometimes you want to camouflage the appearance of broad shoulders, and what better way to do so, than wearing something that makes you feel sexy in the process.  I took this drape front sweater dress and pulled it off to one side and paired it with some knee high boots.  To give it another dimension, I also threw on a hooded sweater vest.  The best part about this outfit is that the sweater and the dress together was under $30 at the Dillard's Clearance Center.  I swear that place is a best kept secret.  If you can get there, I promise you won't be disappointed.  Check online to see if there is a city near you that has one, and if not, it is definitely worth a trip out of town to visit one!  Here's a pe...

I absolutely love simple dresses that you can add an accessory to and make it stand out.  This dress is not only cozy and comfortable, but also very professional and flattering.  One of those "sophisticated sexy" sweater dresses.  Hugs in all the right places, but still just the right amount of conservative for the work day.  Paired it with my favorite dark natural heels, a scarf and I was ready to make business happen for the day! I found this great dress in 3 colors on a trip to the BCBG outlet in Maryland, and of course I couldn't pass them up.   It was definitely a great find.  Oh yeah, and if you notice that little black piece sticking out around my neck that is my wireless headset that I just cannot live without!! I love that thing, I will put the link below just incase anyone is one the go like me and needs to be handsfree!  I promise you won't be disappointed! Here's a peak at my OOTD. 

My favorite time of year is fall/winter time because, being from the "Great Northwest, originally, I have an extreme appreciation for warm weather clothes, i.e. boots and sweaters!  At a whopping 36 degrees, I decided I wanted to layer up this morning.   I was excited to put on some tights,  a sweater dress and one of my many pairs of boots.  A girl can never have to many great pairs of boots.  They can be worn with a little of everything!  Check out my fit of the day:
