Fun & Flirty - Blazer, Flowing Dress and Over the Knee Boots

I am definitely a fan of wearing things that accentuate your shape, however sometimes a fun flowing dress is the way to go.  They can serve purposes, such as hiding trouble areas or even if you just want to wear something loose and comfortable because your having one of those days.  Some people may feel like they are wearing a sac, but if you accessories properly you will have a nice, fun and flirty outfit that makes you look and feel great.  I think they are a good choice if you need something quick and easy to run errands in, lunching with friends, shopping, or even for traveling.  

Today I decided to pair my dress with another great pair of over the knee DV boots that I purchased a few fall seasons ago, along with my cut up sleeve blazer.  It is the perfect outfit for my day, as I handle business and then have plans to meet my girlfriend for dinner later in the evening.  Hears a peak at how I pulled together today's OOTD.

Something about wearing all black says bossy to me.  The look and feel of this color makes such a powerful statement and you can usually never go wrong no matter what size you are, as it is the most flattering and forgiving color one can wear.  I love bright and beautiful colors but black is definitely a BSM favorite and absolute go to! Shades of Pink - Pink & Black Dress and Pink Top & Black Leather Skirt

Pink is a universal color that looks good on almost everyone, including the gentlemen.  Some shades definitely pop more so than others.  I truly love the dramatic look of fuchsia pink, it is vibrant and makes a very bold statement, where as the softer pink is very classic and timeless. In today's post I am giving you two different looks with two different shades of pink. The first look has a sassy and bold appeal.  I paired my long sleeve shift dress with some leggings and black knee high boots with gold accents.  This fuchsia shade definitely pops and makes a statement that definitely needs no introduction.  Where as the second look, has a touch of classy sophistication appeal to it.  The soft pink top finished off with a faux leather pencil skirt, pearls and ankle strap heels gives you subtle sexy look.  Here's a peek at the outfits I pulled together.

Every day is a Special Occasion - Embroidered Skirt, Tank and Blazer

I have things in my closet that I sometimes never get to waiting on a special occasion; so rather than do that I figure, "if you have it, wear it", as everyday is a special occasion to look and feel good.  For today's OOTD,  I was feeling a little sassy and decided to wear this fun embroidered fitted skirt. I have said it before, I love pieces that accent your curves in all the right places; and the skirt does just that.  I completed the look with an long asymmetrical sleeveless top and a blazer.  Simple, yet edgy and definitely and outfit that can take you from day to night if need be.  Now, call me crazy, but I truly got dressed to sit in my office all day and run a couple errands, but regardless I was ready for anything that came my way.  Here's a peek at what I wore.
