Take it from Day to Night - Leggings to Knee High Boots

Sometimes you need your outfit to take you from business during the day, to a fun evening out after work.  As a woman on the go I don't always have time to go back home and change in between my days events, I try to get dressed with that in mind that, so that when I have to make the superman change it is as painless as possible. Today's outfit of the day was the the difference between wearing leggings for the day and then replacing them with some suede over the knee boots for after work fun.   An easy fix that can be done in the car if you are running short on time to your destination.

I love wearing black and white with a touch of red.  It's a simple and classic combo that truly gives a bold, sassy yet polished statement.  I paired a tunic dress with some leggings and red blazer, finished off with a pair of red patent heels, to handle my days business.   The after five option, whether you are meeting your girlfriends, going to a fun event, or even have a date, is a pair of amazing suede over the knee boots that zip of up the back.  I am such a boot girl so any opportunity that I get to break out a great pair of boots I am all for it.  These boots are DV by Dolce Vita and they are a great brand because they are cute and some of the most comfortable ever.  They never disappoint, so be sure to try the brand if you are looking for a great boot that you can wear or 12 plus hours.   Here's a peek at my outfit of the day.

Something about wearing all black says bossy to me.  The look and feel of this color makes such a powerful statement and you can usually never go wrong no matter what size you are, as it is the most flattering and forgiving color one can wear.  I love bright and beautiful colors but black is definitely a BSM favorite and absolute go to! Shades of Pink - Pink & Black Dress and Pink Top & Black Leather Skirt

Pink is a universal color that looks good on almost everyone, including the gentlemen.  Some shades definitely pop more so than others.  I truly love the dramatic look of fuchsia pink, it is vibrant and makes a very bold statement, where as the softer pink is very classic and timeless. In today's post I am giving you two different looks with two different shades of pink. The first look has a sassy and bold appeal.  I paired my long sleeve shift dress with some leggings and black knee high boots with gold accents.  This fuchsia shade definitely pops and makes a statement that definitely needs no introduction.  Where as the second look, has a touch of classy sophistication appeal to it.  The soft pink top finished off with a faux leather pencil skirt, pearls and ankle strap heels gives you subtle sexy look.  Here's a peek at the outfits I pulled together.

Every day is a Special Occasion - Embroidered Skirt, Tank and Blazer

I have things in my closet that I sometimes never get to waiting on a special occasion; so rather than do that I figure, "if you have it, wear it", as everyday is a special occasion to look and feel good.  For today's OOTD,  I was feeling a little sassy and decided to wear this fun embroidered fitted skirt. I have said it before, I love pieces that accent your curves in all the right places; and the skirt does just that.  I completed the look with an long asymmetrical sleeveless top and a blazer.  Simple, yet edgy and definitely and outfit that can take you from day to night if need be.  Now, call me crazy, but I truly got dressed to sit in my office all day and run a couple errands, but regardless I was ready for anything that came my way.  Here's a peek at what I wore.
